Jonathan Hartnett is a tree guru and firefighter with 20 years’ local experience trimming trees and landscaping homes and property in Los Gatos and the greater Santa Cruz Mountains for wildfire resilience. Born and raised in the South Bay, Jonathan is a property owner and full-time resident in the mountains of Los Gatos. He’s also a nationally accredited firefighter/engineer for the Zayante Fire Protection District, an all-risk fire department that covers an area from Los Gatos to Felton.

Cats Trees is a full-service tree and landscaping company that specializes in tree trimming and removal, stump grinding and landscaping for wildfire resilience. Jonathan is an expert in designing and creating a defensible space plan for your home that adheres to both CalFire and the home insurance industry’s strict standards.
